 Does the HSBC Advance offer cost anything?

The HSBC Advance offer is free for customers who meet the eligibility criteria.

 What are the eligibility criteria for HSBC Advance?

Eligibility Criteria:

To benefit from HSBC Advance, you simply need to:

  • Hold an HSBC Hexagone(3) account or a Visa Premier / Gold MasterCard payment card.

and

  • Have your monthly income of € 2,500 or more for individual accounts or € 3,500 for joint accounts domiciled into your HSBC France account.
                                                          or
    Transfer over € 30,000 in Assets + Loans to us.
 

You may also be offered HSBC Advance thanks to the terms of our existing relationship.

 How do I open an HSBC Advance account?

Wether you are expecting a remote or an in-branch relationship, you are free to decide how to open an account.
Before enrolling, don't forget to make sure you fulfil the eligibility criteria.

  • Online account opening in 3 steps:
    Make your request online in few minutes.

    1. Complete your application form and print it at the end.

    2. Sign your contract and post it, accompanied by the relevant papers(3).

    3. When your application is received and subject to acceptance, we open your account as soon as possible.
    You will receive a confirmation email of the account's opening.
  • In-branch opening: contact us to schedule a meeting at an HSBC France branch near you.

 How do I make deposits into and direct debits from my HSBC Advance account?

HSBC provides you with 2 methods:
Method 1:
We'll take care of everything for you thanks to our switching guarantee.
We contact each institution on your behalf to arrange your direct debits (EDF, phone, taxes, etc.) as well as your deposits (salary, mutual benefits, etc.)
How?
When your account is opened simply ask to take advantage of this free offer.
If you open your account online, do not forget to include the request along with your proof documents.

Method 2:
If you prefer to carry out the switching process yourself, we provide you with letters pre-filled with your new banking information that you can complete and send to the institutions concerned.

 Is it possible to open a joint account?

Yes, you are welcome to open a joint account.
If you choose to open your account online, you may provide the information of the co-holder on the form and send the proof documents accordingly.

 When will I receive credit card and check book?

When your account is opened, you will receive means of payment at your home in less than 10 days.
In the case of a joint account, the co-holder will receive their bank card separately.

 How do I access my bank when I am abroad?

You may easily contact your personal advisor from abroad.
There is one number for all locations outside France:

(1) Cost of a local call from a landline phone in mainland France, from 8am to 10pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 5.30pm on Saturdays.
(2) Costs vary between countries. Contact your operator for information.
