(1) The interest bonus is calculated on 31st December each year. It is payable to HSBC Premier clients holding a Livret HSBC Epargne passbook savings account on 31st December each year. The bonus is paid in the form of additional interest in early January the following year (subject to the same tax rules as the Livret HSBC Epargne). This interest bonus for HSBC Premier clients is subject to change each year. For 2010 it is equal to 10% of the interest payable at 31st December 2010. Clients will be informed of the bonus interest rate for the coming year each December, by any means. The interest bonus is a percentage added to the interest rate. This percentage is calculated taking into account inflation forecasts, the current inflation rate and market trends. HSBC France reserves the right to suspend or end this offer with 45 days' notice, to be given by any means. The interest bonus will be payable up to the effective date of the notice.
