Mieux Vivre Votre Argent Corbeilles awards

The 20th Corbeilles awards from Mieux Vivre Votre Argent magazine looked at the fund ranges of around 100 banks. The HSBC Group's asset management team won awards in a number of categories.

Corbeilles

1st - Range of profiled funds

In the best profiled funds category, HSBC France came top of assessments of funds over one year and third over five years for its range of profiled funds managed by HSBC Global Asset Management.


2nd - Corbeille d'Or

A total of 15 banks were in the running for the "Corbeille d'Or" award, which recognises the ranges offered by major banks and insurance companies' banking subsidiaries. The "Corbeille d'Or" award corresponds to the overall assessment over one year, with 70% relating to equities and 30% to bonds. HSBC France came second in the "Corbeille d'Or" category and third in the equity awards.


2nd - Employee savings

Out of 20 institutions, HSBC Global Asset Management (France) also came second in the employee savings Corbeille awards with a score of 15.74 out of 20. This category recognises the best ranges of FCPE* employee savings funds.


Asset management companies are highly ranked

Out of 48 institutions, HSBC Private Wealth Managers came fourth over five years and 10th over one year. HSBC Global Asset Management France was ranked 11th over one year and 20th over five years.

 

For the 5th consecutive year, our international fund range has been awarded two trophies at the 25th edition of ‘Les trophées du Revenu'.

‘Les trophées du revenu' awards top professionals in France for 3 and 10 year periods. For the 5th consecutive year, HSBC has won the ‘Trophée d'Or' for ‘best international equity fund range'. In addition, a ‘Trophée d'argent' for its ‘'international fixed income bond fund range' for a 3 year period in the category for banks with retail networks. Among the most acclaimed fund ranges, HSBC funds invested in emerging markets are well represented.

Trophée d'or Le Revenu

The award for ‘best international equity fund range' for a 3 year period for a 5th consecutive year has been awarded to HSBC. This award recognizes the best collective management within the category for banks with retail networks.


Trophée d'argent Le Revenu

The award for best ‘international fixed income fund range' for a 3 year period has been awarded to HSBC; category banks with retail networks.


L'Alpha league Table France 2011

HSBC Global Asset Management is ranked 6th in the Alpha League Table France 2011: The Alpha League Table, designed by EDHEC and Europerformance, compensates European asset management companies for their ability to deliver alpha in their ‘equity' fund ranges. This annual ranking is done geographically and covers the full asset management industry in Europe.


Label* Excellence Mieux Vivre Votre Argent

‘Mieux Vivre Votre Argent' magazine has been making awards since 2006. The magazine seeks to compensate the best investment funds in Paris, over a 5 year period, that are targeted to retail investors. HSBC GIF Euro Short Term Bond Fund has been awarded an ‘Excellence Label' in the "Euro Short-Term Bond" category. This label rewards the fund's consistent performance over a 5 year period.

‘Mieux Vivre Votre Argent' magazine has been making awards since 2006. The magazine seeks to compensate the best investment funds in Paris, over a 5 year period, that are targeted to retail investors. HSBC GIF Euro High Yield Bond has been awarded "Performance Label" in the "Euro Short-Term category." This label rewards the fund's performance over a 5 year period.


* "Eligible" FCPE funds should have assets under management of at least €2 million at 26 June 2011. The performances used for the rankings are performances over five years and to 24 June 2011. Each FCPE fund is given a score of 0 to 20 depending on its performance, as well as the average for the category using Mieux Vivre Votre Argent's own methodology. Past performances are not a reliable indicator of future performance.
