HSBC France offers its customers the power of a global banking and finance group coupled with a one-on-one relationship founded on in-depth local expertise. As a French subsidiary of the HSBC Group incorporated in France and regulated by the French law, HSBC France is a member of the French system guarantiing cash and securities, as all French banks.

HSBC France boasts a network of 380 branches operating under the name HSBC. HSBC France was created when the brand was adopted in autumn 2005 by CCF and four of its subsidiaries : Union de Banques à Paris (UBP), Banque Hervet in the Paris region, Banque de Picardie and Banque de Baecque Beau. In July 2008, those four subsidiaries merged with HSBC France.

In Retail Banking, in July 2008, HSBC France completed the sale of HSBC France’s network of seven regional banks in France (Société Marseillaise de Crédit, Banque de Savoie, Banque Chaix, Banque Marze, Banque Dupuy, de Parseval, Banque Pelletier and Crédit Commercial du Sud Ouest) to Banque Fédérale des Banques Populaires, after entering into exclusive discussions in early 2008.

In addition to its retail banking network, HSBC France offers its clientele a full range of products and services in the following businesses:  Global Banking and Markets, Asset Management and Insurance, and Private Banking.

HSBC France employs over 10,000 people working to provide its customers with a comprehensive range of banking and financial services.
