Throughout our 150-year history, HSBC has been where the growth is, connecting customers to opportunities, enabling businesses to thrive and economies to prosper, and helping people to fulfil their ambitions.
Europe as a region is a fundamental part of the global economy, representing 25% of global GDP and nearly 40% of global trade, so HSBC wants to provide a new momentum to its European operations.
To that end, on 1 December 2020, HSBC France and all its European branches (Belgium, Spain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Czech republic and Sweden) took the legal name HSBC Continental Europe.
This change has no downsides for our customers. But it helps them use our unique global network to fulfil their ambitions.
This date also saw our headquarters move to 38, avenue Kléber - 75116 Paris.
