HSBC Protection Avenir

Your accident prevention insurance

Benefits of HSBC Protection Avenir

  • True financial protection

HSBC Protection Avenir(1) guarantees your loved ones the payment of a lump sum and an (optional) education annuity to your children in the event of death and to you in the event of a Total and Irreversible Loss of Autonomy (TILA) following an accident.

  • Fiscal advantages.
  • In certain circumstances capital transfers are free from inheritance taxes.
  • Personalised contracts

Choose a base capital adapted to your needs from €50,000 to €200,000, and choose any beneficiaries you like.

  • A flexible, advantageous solution.
  • No need for a medical at subscription, and you can modify the contract at any time: for example to add new children for the education annuity.

A personalised contract

Choose your capital level

Select the amount of capital you consider necessary to protect your family from three offers between €50,000 and €200,000.

In the event of accidental death, the lump sum will be paid to your designated beneficiaries(2)

In the event of a Total and Irreversible Loss of Autonomy following an accident and taking into account the material and financial consequences resulting from this state of disability, the capital is paid directly to you to enable you, for example, to carry out the renovation of your home, or pay for a living assistant.

Optional education allowance

Add an education annuity that will be paid each year to the children you have designated as beneficiaries (flat-rate amount from €2,500 to €10,000 per year depending on the capital chosen), up to the children's 25th birthday if they are students, otherwise until they reach 18 years old.

Free choice of beneficiaries

The beneficiaries designated in the general conditions are your spouse, failing which your children, whether born or to be born alive, failing which your legal successors.

This beneficiary clause can be modified and you can freely designate beneficiaries in the event of death and transfer capital to people even outside the family circle.
